Patrick Barrett's fitness 
                          program  
                          Racing is one of the most demanding 
                          sports in the world. All race car drivers, like Patrick, 
                          have to stay in top shape to help meet the physical 
                          and mental challenges of racing. They need to be prepared 
                          to respond to opportunities that require more from their 
                          body like longer or more demanding races or to the challenges 
                          of changes in scheduling.  
                           
                          Patrick follows a program that stresses endurance and 
                          strength building that is structured to respond to the 
                          special demands of racing. With the guidance of a sports 
                          trainer, he has a regular gym routine in addition to 
                          riding his road and mountain bikes. 
						   
						  Patrick works with Lindsay Bartsch, a professional trainer from Los Osos Fitness.
