After an outstanding performance in the opening two rounds of the season at California Speedway
in Fontana in early March, Patrick Barrett looks to continue his success in Rounds 3 and 4 of the 2007
Pacific F2000 Championship Series presented by Hankook Tires. The event will be held in conjunction with
the Vintage Auto Racing Association's High Desert Challenge this coming weekend, March 31 - April 1 on the
2.5 mile 9 turn road course at the historic Willow Springs International Raceway in Rosamond, Calif

"This will be my first time at Willow Springs and I've been told it's a fairly simple track to drive.
It looks really fast, which I like, so I'm looking forward to the weekend," said Barrett.

Driving the #3 Jim Russell Racing Schools/Alpinestars/ GoPro Digital Hero Van Diemen Ford Zetec, Barrett
enters the second race weekend tied for the championship points lead with Chris Spreitzer. Barrett, the 17 year
old from Los Osos, California claimed victory in Round 1 on Saturday at California Speedway and led ten of the
thirteen laps in the Sunday race, only to come up short and finish second.
Patrick would like to thank his personal marketing partners and supporters Jim Russell Racing Schools,
Alpinestars and GoPro Digital Hero. "I'd like to congratulate the Jim Russell Racing School and new owner
Emotive Group on breaking ground for their new training facility at Infineon Raceway," said Barrett.

Alpinestars, makers of clothing and technical equipment, support drivers in Formula 1, MotoGP, World Super
Bike and other forms of motorsports. "My experience with Alpinestars has been wonderful and I'm very thankful
to be a part of their support program."

Patrick is working with GoPro, the makers of the new Digital Hero3, to help adapt their digital video and
still cameras to motorsports. "The compact nature of the Digital Hero camera has helped me easily gather video
footage that would be difficult to get with most other video cameras."
