Pacific F2000: Patrick Barrett Ready for Season Opener
  
						
                         
						 
						 Los Osos, Calif.(March 8, 2007) 
						  					  
						   Patrick Barrett will contest the season opening races of the 2007 
						  Pacific F2000 Championship Series presented by Hankook Tires this weekend at California Speedway in Fontana. 
						  The 17 year old Californian will be driving for PR1 Motorsports, owned by Bobby and Lisa Oergel. He looks to 
						  build on his success from last year when he claimed two victories in his F2000 debut drive at Infineon Raceway 
						  and two podium finishes in the season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. 
						  
						   Patrick is excited to announce his 2007 personal marketing partners and supporters Jim Russell Racing Schools, 
						  Alpinestars and GoPro Digital Hero. He won the 2006 Formula Russell Championship and was Rookie of the Year. 
						  Alpinestars, makers of clothing and technical equipment, support drivers in Formula 1, MotoGP, World Super Bike 
						  and other forms of motorsports. Patrick is working with GoPro, the makers of the new Digital Hero3, to help adapt 
						  their digital video and still cameras to motorsports 
						   
						   "I had a great season with the Jim Russell Racing Schools in 2006 and I'm happy to continue my relationship 
						  with them in 2007," says Barrett. "I'm thrilled to represent Alpinestars in the Pacific F2000 series this year 
						  and I am excited about promoting their products. GoPro is on the cutting edge of compact video products for outdoor
